has anyone seen this show. its about time. one idea they talked about was to dig a open hole and leave peanut butter in it just off a main trail 3 days before opening day. they practically guarantee a big buck;)

Yeah . . . I saw it. It is a special product made for deer. I agree with mineral licks for the deer. We have some out but we do not hunt over them. Besides by the time we hunt the minerals are long gone.

This peanut butter is baiting and I am not into that with and cervid. Now bear and cougar is another question and I thing baiting is proper and there is nothing wrong with the practice.

I don' t know if it would work for deer but if I' m walking through the woods and walk up on a jar of JIF I' m having a samich!:D

Just don' t try this on public land. Because if some other hunter is walking through there eating a chocolate bar and trips and falls in your peanut butter hole, you have to stand there and do the old " Hey you got chocolate in my peanut butter!!" , " No, you got peanut butter on my chocolate!!" argument , and then there won' t be a deer around!!!:D

i saw another show do that ,i think it was hunting across america ,i was like ok so now i gotta go to the supermarket for deer lure great then i gotta decide smooth or chunky ! [&:]
