Default Antler Growth Pics

I posted this in the Whitetail Deer Forum but know some folks don't go over there. I've been able to capture the antler growth on this particular buck as he's been visiting my mineral station pretty regularly. Pretty amazing to see. I'll post additional pics if and when I get more. Hopefully the last picture will have me standing behind him this fall. Enjoy.

He would next year. Problem is, the farm he's on borders the interstate and every single year a buck or two of his caliber gets hit. So, on this particular farm, if a buck is at least 3-1/2 and P&Y caliber, which he is, I'm going to take him. If he was in a different area, I would think about passing him.

Great job on the pics. He's a great buck and the history you have with him would make it even more rewarding. I've been messing with cameras for about 4 years, this being my first keeping them out year round, and I have never gotten a buck that I also had on trail cam. Hopefully, this year will be my first!

Good luck.

Nice looking buck. The only thing I have seen around here are only about the size of that other one in the pic.

He's back and right on schedule. Check out the updated pic, the last in the sequence.
