Looking for a new release..got opinions?
Anybody try the loop shooters? Sales dude at Cabelas showed me one and i liked it. Helped out with the draw. But seems like it could cause dry fires. Looking to upgrade from my ancient Tru Fire.

Tru-fire fold back edge release, I will be switching to a loop soon and this is the release I will be useing. Slim design easy adjustments, curved trigger which I prefer and folds back for climbing or what ever when your in the stand.

I just got a TRU Ball short-n-sweet. You can use the hook on a D-loop or use a rope around the string. It comes with D-Loop material and rope material. I used it for the first time yesterday with the hook and I'm liking it so far.

I have a scott silverhorn also and i like it ok. The only thing i dont like about it is the strap streches and now im on the last hole on the buckle and its nowhere near close to tight enough, just something to think about.

Anything from Scott will serve you well. The Silverhorn is a proven d-loop release with an excellent reputation.
Personally, I prefer to shoot either a original Scott Caliper or Shark off a d-loop. Hook up time doesn't concern me, I've shoot a loop for over 10 years, it's second nature.
