Muzzy Zero Effect arrow rest

I' m new to the site and have been bowhunting for quite some time now.I was just wondering if anyone was using the zero effect rest and could give me some feed back on it.If not, how about the Trophy Ridge drop away?

Welcome to the board KinkyBuck. Lots of MZE fans here, including myself. Best fall away rest for hunting made if you ask me. You probably won' t even have to do a seach to find what your looking for. Just check all bow gear and tech forums and there should be some threads on the Zero Effect.

Welcome aboard I love the MZE I have it on my hunting and target bow and put one one my wife' s bow. what is great about it it has no cable or rope to stretch or break and some say that you' ll pick up some extra speed by using it but I' ve haven' t really noticed to much though.

It' s the best hunting/drop away rest on the market today. At least of the ones I have shot.

How much speed is lost with useing a cable drivin dropaway arrow rest, like the MZE.I see they have one to fit the Mathews bows with the cable rollers.New that was comming[:-]

This will be my 3rd season with an MZE and I can' t imagine another rest being on one of my bows. I love it!!

Droptines,
With the MZE, you' ll actually gain some speed. I gained 5fps, I believe that I read someone had gained 14 fps.

Kinkybuck,
Be sure to get the new teflon cable slide for the MZE, instead of the old roller style. The original was quiet, but the new slide is even more so.

I have one on two different bows and I didn' t gain or lose any speed with either. I have carried them in the mountains elk hunting, up and down trees during deer season for two years now and never had any problems.

I used a MZE last year with good success. The only problem was that I wasn' t thrilled about the looks of the thing. I tried three other drop aways so far this year and now I went back to the Muzzy. It' s more important to have a " GREAT" working rest then a good looking one. I even think that the MZE is growing on me now because it doesn' t bother me anymore and it works flawlessly...

I have been converted. Have one on a Q2 and a new Bowtech BKII. The MZE is easy to tune and is quiet enough for hunting. It' s the best, you wont be disappointed.
