RE: whats the best release?

You owe it to yourself to check out the following ones

Carter One Shot
TRU Ball Short-N-Sweet
Jim Fletcher Jim Dandy

I just went through this myself. Picked up the One Shot. It was by far the smoothest trigger I tested. No take-up and no creep.

RE: whats the best release?

If you want a t-handle type of target release Carter releases are hard to beat, but a lot of money. If you want a wrist strap I have a release made by a company called Stacey, and its called 4-Play. They are machined aluminum and hand assembled, and have a trigger sear mechanism just like a Carter target release, but a lot less money. They also make t-handle releases but I dont think the machine work is smooth enough, the one I used gave me blisters, but they are real nice.
