I do both treestand and hunt from the ground. I really prefer the ground hunting method, but realistically, get set up on a good spot, and treestand hunting is "more productive." I've killed as many from the ground as I have from treestands though, and truly enjoy the challenge of being at THEIR level and trying to arrow them.

I have only stalked, never been in a tree stand or a ground blind.

I've done 1, 2, and 3. Only 1 and 2 with success though.

1, 2 and 3 because there's more to life than just whitetails and if you limit yourself to only one method, you're missing out on a lot of opportunity.

I have only hunted by stalking and has had some success with a total of 4 deer that way. ( limited to 1 deer per year bucks only currently ) I have never tried the tree stand thing as of yet. But I am planing on trying it this fall. I had recently purchased a set of climbing sticks as well as a nice ladder stand to put up in an area I think will produce pretty good. Up this way there is not a lot of deer to hunt for so no matter how you hunt it will be a challenge..

For the most part I stalk, but last year I really tried to treestand hunt...dont like it as much as stalking, but it works well enough.

I think stalking is the best way to do hunting!
