Bowhunting Blind??
I am looking to buy a blind for archery hunting. i would like something that can hold 2 people and enough room to draw. im not sure i want mesh windows anymore....dont know how accurate my arrow would be because of the mesh, BUT im not sold that deer cant see into the blind and see you...at the current moment i dont want to spend more than 100 bucks. right now i have 2 in mind that look good, basically im looking for reviews on them, or info on what a great archery blind is that meets my standards, thanks!!

I'd shy away from the Ameristep (I have one and it's just not quite right for bowhunting) but that KillZone is one hell of a deal and twice or even 3 times the blind. (I also have one similar to that one).

I have shot several deer and turkey from my blind similar to the Killzone that you are looking at. I can say that I have not had a problem shooting through mesh. I shot a doe two years ago at 35 yards and my arrow went exactly where I wanted it. I do shoot fixed blade. Not sure if mechanicals would be any different though. I don't know how well they can see through the windows though, we have videotaped turkey on several different hunts. One one occasion we had a hen within two yards, never knew we were there. It is actually pretty cool, when you hold the camera close enough or just zoom through the window you can even see the mesh, it is like its not there...

I have used several Blinds to Bowhunt out of. The only one I currently own is a Double Bull Dark Horse.
IMO it's the best blind out there and well worth the $$$ Dan |
