$1000 bare bow? Not too many out there in that range. I have found the Z7 for $650. Ross did make a good bow until Bow Tec got a hold of it. If you cant afford it that fine but dont put it down because we all know you would have one if you could. Hoyt, Mathews, Elite or any other top end bow.

Shoot everything you can and make your decision then. You will find what you want in time.
