I have not shot one myself yet. I have two buddies (both were shooting a DXT prior) who have new Z7's and they say they just love them. Both say there is a night and day difference between the Z7 and the DXT. Go shoot one yourself and see what you think.

I have hopes that the Z7 will be a new and improved DXT. The Reezen and Monster just didn't do it for me. I picked up a Hoyt Alphamax last year and love it to death. I will get another couple years out of it before I go shopping for a new bow though. But sometimes the inner need for a new bow might just get ahold of me and make me buy a new one!

The Z7 is lights out excellent. Smooth and fast. Wish it was about 32 ATA but that's just me. Most people want that 30inch ATA. It shoots very well and draws even better. Two nice things I noticed right away... better grip and solid backwall.

Mine has been on order for 4 weeks now. I was told today another 2 to 4 weeks. Just as long as I have it before turkey season.

Maybe not the smoothest drawing bow that I have ever shot but definatley the quietest and smoothest shooting bow that I've ever shot. I'm going to be ordering one very soon.

I like MATHEWS but I think I'll be sticking to my Switchback XT, about 4 years old but still kills deer.
