From their show they seem like they'd be really down to earth and genuinely nice people. Having worked a few shows it is really cool to see people "outside the booth" and see their true personalities. The very vast majority of those experiences have been positive. I can honestly say that most of the "celebs" in the outdoor industry do not sport huge egos and are grateful to be where they are and doing what they are doing.

Default Beyond the Hunt

It is a great show! They get accross pure emotion and no Hype. They just love to hunt and it shows! They are doing things different and I think they may be the next big thing just because they put quality footage together without the hollywood crap.

Rick and Julie have been to our shop for our customer appreciation sale numerous times with Jay Gregory. They both are as real as real gets and super friendly.

In fact, when I first met Rick, he was standing in the corner by himself while Jay was speaking. I had no idea who he was as he struck up a conversation with me. We spoke for the better part of an hour, the whole time I had not clue who he was. In fact, I tried to sale him a Hoyt and could not figure out for the life of me why he was not biting on the awesome deal I was offering.

What really blew me away was when I was at the ATA show last year (2009) and Rick and Julie both not only remember me, but remembered my name and remembered the fact that my wife was due to have a baby shortly after the last time we met (Aug 2008).

Great, REAL people for sure.
