You are such a drama queen Don and I see you edited your comment.I need to log in every time I come back. There is obvious an issue with the servers going on. I've seen that error before myself and logged back in proper, it was there.

If there is something true that is even negative about BowTech, there's no reason for it not to be here. Sadly, some would rather take personal attacks than discuss logically about things. This issue has been answered, again....over and over and over again. You just can't accept that fact. And if you get banned, it has nothing to do with BowTech, but everything to do with you and and what you bring to the table. People have been screaming for your banishment for years yet here you are. Ever wonder why?

Well....if you can't see how inflammatory posting that (and some other things that have been posted) is to folks.....just take my word for it. There's absolutely NO reason for any of this to get personal (for either "side"). I don't have a dog in this "fight". But the way this is being handled is offensive, to me, as a BT customer. And the way "some" (not ALL) are voicing their "concerns" is.....I agree.....transparent AND childish.

Look at it from a business standpoint. It's just not good business to condescend to current or potential customers. Nothing personal about that statement.

In any situation like this, you're gonna have a few legitimate "bashers" who'll pile on at ANY given chance. I'm just saying.....you're risking pissing off legitimate cutomers if you discount the lot.

IMO....a statement from the advisory staff OR BT that read:

"We understand there are concerns regarding (_____________). We would also like to reassure our current and future customers by saying that we are aware that these "issues" are real to YOU.....and that we are addressing them, internally (by implementing additional QC measures) and externally (by educating our authorized dealers). We would also like to say that any consumer experiencing ANY issues with their new bow is encouraged to contact us, so that we can assure your total satisfaction with your new bow purchase".

Again....if Matt Mickey tells me something regarding a compound bow.....I believe it. And, I encourage anyone NOT comfortable with what Matt's posted (on AT) to list his OWN resume'; mfr's affiliation and current bow. As we've seen in the past, the "rest of the story" will usually manifest itself, pretty quickly (regarding whether or no there's an underlying agenda).

I just think you guys (staff and extremely loyal customers) are risking a rash of death by friendly fire incidents, currently.

Just my .02.

Jeff, perhaps that's very true.

I've been around the block enough that although 100% professionally as your bold statement is, it in itself would also be piled upon. For some, when it comes to BowTech, there isn't anything that is good enough.

I admit, I am human, I am not without error and my passion shines when I see non truths. Perhaps I need to be less passionate and the end is always the same, when all else fails, jump on the bandwagon and attack (not you doing this) my signature position.

While we are going down this path, I have gotten phone calls and pms from guys about banishing you as a mod for years. I don't enjoy personal attacks from you, and yes, I do respond respond to your personal attacks. I am here to talk bow hunting, and nothing more. No agenda, no promotion, and I sell no products here, nor do I represent any company. It would be great if mods were not allowed to be affiliated with any company. That's the way it should be. It would keep mods from pushing camo clothing and bows that they have a financial interest in, and deleting threads that don't promote the mods product the way he likes it. The Archerytalk thread has not been deleted. My thread here deleted. This forum is here to make money, I assume. The way it makes money is by having a large amountof active member users on the forum, contacting hunting company products,so that they can sell advertising to companies in the hunting industry, by stating to these companies,"Hey, we have thousands of active members online every given day". Why would i want to pay money to advertise here on a site, where members are silenced when they make informative posts, when they can go to AT and get more bang for their dollar? Now, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that AT has thousands of active members, but this site has very few. Ever wonder why? Because AT doesn't have mods censoring the info and spoon feeding us what they only want us to hear. This site is like communist China and everything is censored by deleting threads that don't go along with a mods promotion or agenda. Seen it happen a bunch here. From Camo to bow brands.

As an administrator here, I would love for an example of your accusations about HNI's agenda to promote this and not allow that. Find me one. Your thread was locked I assume by Internet Brands (IB) management because of the reported posts from bigcountry. The whole thread was actually falsified and the very reason this thread exists. You attack me, you attack HNI in this very quote, you are more than welcome to leave on your own accord and are also welcome to hit the back button. I'll be the first to admit there is no love lost between you and I. And that has no bearing on my position here with HNI nor with BowTech. You just like to take that position and cry foul.

And as far as your phone calls and PM's about me. I can make a list and I'm not surprised. You'd be surprised who I know attempted that, maybe he'd be surprised as well. And to be honest, for every 1 that you have, I can promise I have 50 that say just the opposite.

Let's just move on. You are right and I am wrong. There is no talking with you, so forget it. I am done.

I've been around the block enough that although 100% professionally as your bold statement is, it in itself would also be piled upon.
So have I....and I agree. The difference is.....THEN it would be crystal clear (others' agendas).

And there's nothing "non-truth" about a legitimate customer's (customers') concerns. They're very real, to THEM. Whether or not their concerns are legitimate isn't up for debate.

My advice would be for BT to use the "less is more" approach. By adressing the "bashers", you guys are giving this WAYYyyyy too much "air time".

ALL a current or BT customer needs to know (IMO) is.....that the Co. recognizes there is a real issue (in the eyes of their customers) and that they're 100% dedicated to pleasing them.

Hell, that's all I care about with any Co. I buy things from. We can't (as consumers) expect anything more!

If there's no REAL issue (as far as BT is concerned), my advice would be to refrain from assigning legitimacy to the bashers' comments. You're not going to win them over (EVER!). And anyone not intelligent enough to understand that their total satisfaction is guaranteed.......likely couldn't be pleased if you GAVE them a bow and trotted a 150" in front of them.

Good luck in your final days of your season.

And Don.....if I went into the GM forum and talked down to the mgmt. of the company affording me the privelege of posting on THEIR site, I'd expect to be banned from it.

Absolutely. Thats the beauty of grace. No matter how dirty we get, the Father picks us up and dusts us off and says, "its ok, I still love ya, don't do it again".

bigcountry 01-02-2010 08:56 AM

Well one thing for sure. This is the most action HNI has had in months. Maybe not such a bad thing. Just sayin?

Actually thats pretty good advise.

Imagine how little air time would have been generated if no-one affiliated with BT posted on it. Maybe a simple, we don't think its an issue woudl have suffice. Kinda take the hoyt road.
