it sure looks good!!! but i think it gives em more character when you dont have the antlers altered.

Thanks, yes i knew i would take a bit of abuse for altering the buck, I didn't score it and wasn't planning on mounting it, my taxi said he wanted to fix it for me, it hangs in my kids bedroom, they like it and that's good enough for me. Yes it's a big Ben Fathead, we're big Steelers fans!! the actual 6' Fathead is on another wall, here's their room, a few bucks they liked.

It is really a personal preference thing. Some guys like to repair any broken tines on something they kill, others prefer to leave them the way they died. Honestly makes no difference.

I leave them just the way they were. I shot a 6X6 Elk that had about 8" broke off 1 tine. He still scored over 300 and hangs on my wall just like he was the day he hit the ground.

Good lookiong mount and good looking wall including the Steeler stuff.

Toughest part of today will be rooting for the Bengals to keep our chances alive!
