Badlands Packs-Who has had Zipper tab/other failures?

I have. I had two break in the same day on my 2200 I bought new last year, have only used a few times, and I didn't abuse the zippers. All I did was use them; the tabs are JUNK imo. I fixed the problem and installed parachute cord on each failed zipper as my zipper handle, as I didn't want to spend the approx $20 each way for shipping, that Badlands requires to honor their warranty. I also had a plastic buckle break. I also had some stitching tear away on the black, rubbery material near top of pack. I resewed it myself. Very comfortable pack...but they do fail..unless mine was made on a Friday right before closing time I am happy with the comfort/functionality of the pack, I use it very little, except for winter hunts carrying a DB blind, Lil Buddy heater, and chair.
Just curious if there are others of you with Badland Pack issues? On a side note; my Horn Hunter pack is WAY tougher and has had some hard use/abuse this year, carrying stands and gear, with no failures.

IMHO Badlands Quality, Warranty, & Customer service is second to none.

I personally have never had any issues with my Badlands Packs. However, as stated above, their warranty is second to none.

I've heard the same. I'm gonna be ordering an Eberlestock X2 very soon over the 2200.

many, many people have small issues with badlands packs...send it in and they will fix it...i personally use a Camelbak Commander for my day hunts and have had nothing break in it as of yet and it makes for a good weekend pack as well.

the 4500 i have read problems on them as well, some even having the internal frame (which is a hard plastic!!) break into two.

They have my like new Monster pack right now for this very reason. I called them after it broke and they sent me a bunch of zipper pulls and instructed me how to change it however after trying without success I decided to send it back to them for repair.

I also have an older Monster with LOTS of use and have never had a single problem with it. Having looked at both packs, I think they're using less expensive zipper pulls now.

Badlands has a great warranty and are great peole to work with all around. You only have the pay shipping to them, they pay for it on the way back.

No problems with my Monster either and i pretty much abuse it. When it's not on me, it's strapped to the rack of my Honda Rancher. It's got a lifetime no questions asked warranty for a reason
