a friend sent this to me--dont know who it is but NEVER try to grab a arrow as in falls of the rest and do not pull the trigger--ouch

my 1st thought was, somebody's drop away rest failed. ouch:s6:

Bet he wont shoot short arrows on an overdraw anymore.

Good thing he wasn't shooting with a broadhead too.

A friend of mine from college ran the upstairs archery department at the outdoors place his inlaws owned a few years back and they had a similar accident in their indoor range. Scary stuff.

Thank god he had a field point on it!! Or was that a rage??JK

I am pretty sure that this is somebody on Huntingnet. I saw it on here once before.

I have had the splinters that come off carbon arrows and trust me, they hurt, but this, OUCH!!!!

I bet he makes a complete turnaround,bow to GUN ONLY!!!!

darn trigger finger won't be the same on the left hand!

My lord that would be a traumatic situation!!! I would be willing to bet that if he does continue with archery he will develop a nervous twitch!!!

I've seen a lot of things and had a few close calls, but experienced anything like that.

Bad day for that guy. My cousin has an archery shop and a few years ago he was tuning a bow for a guy and decided to shoot it. He is a large fellow and when he shot the bow the string caught a flip open knife he had in his shirt pocket and it opened and slit his arm all the way to the bone down near his wrist. All the tendons were cut and he had to be rushed to the hospital before he bled out.
