I have had the splinters that come off carbon arrows and trust me, they hurt, but this, OUCH!!!!

My lord that would be a traumatic situation!!! I would be willing to bet that if he does continue with archery he will develop a nervous twitch!!!

Bad day for that guy. My cousin has an archery shop and a few years ago he was tuning a bow for a guy and decided to shoot it. He is a large fellow and when he shot the bow the string caught a flip open knife he had in his shirt pocket and it opened and slit his arm all the way to the bone down near his wrist. All the tendons were cut and he had to be rushed to the hospital before he bled out.
