Hate it. Sure, hunting involves killing, but I cannot believe someone would post a lame risky shot like that on youtube and chest thump about how cool it is.

Just like in whitetail hunting, too much of a chance for a bad shot and wounding the animal with a shot like that. Not impressed.

Almost looks fake the way it fell down slow like that. I dont think theres ever a time a headshot should be taken w/ a bow. Now a 22mag thats a different story.(for a baboon not a deer)

Irresponsible shot that turned out lucky. That video has no place here.

Look Guys i agree with most of the comment of high risk and wait for a better opportunity, but this baboon had made life thought on us, in previous hunts he jumped the string a few times.

we told the client of this guys reputation, and when this he came in we also expected the shot to be heart shot ext, but yes, the client had a good shot and he went for it.
Also keep in mind this shot was within 15 yards, and this guy knows his bow.

but the combination of getting this on camera and it being such a impressive shot, no one can argue that, and i bet if this situation had been anyone of us,
we would have considered placing that exact shot as well.

Well i would have, if i had that skill and it was that close...

I still think it is a very cool shot....

Hope you guys enjoy it....

I would have bought your excuses if you had told me the client was a bad shot.
It's not an impressive shot a 15 yards, even at a 100 yards it would still be a lucky shot and if I had a PH or outfitter who would take this kind of shot in my presence I would ask my money back.
An animal can't have a bad reputation in my opinion not even for jumping strings or being a pest. Animals have instinct.
If your client would have wounded the animal which he had a good chance to, you would have had a good problem.
And putting this on youtube is dumb, this attracts heat from the wrong kind of people.
