My doe was almost white?
I just shot a nice size doe. She was almost all white. Here back had brown and white mix. It looked frosted. She had snow white legs up to her shoulders. It was so cool looking. When I field dressed her it freaked me out. Here organs were displaced. Some of her organs were fused to here ribcage. Had anyone ever seen this before and what the ~ was going on with the organ thing??? Happy but confused.

That is called a piebald. i got a piebald buck acouple years ago but his organs were normal.

Deff. a piebald. Got two a couple years ago. Obvioulsy they will have white areas, short legs, and a humped nose. Don't remember anything different about the organs when I gutted though. My first was a doe, 90% white and the second was a spike, 50/50.

Here's a pic of mine. I love it and it looks good enough to get the wife to allow it to be on display.
Also, below is a pic of a boy from my son's football team with his deer. This is his second year hunting. I think he was 9 or 10 in this pic. |
Very cool looking deer... love the full body mount above... if I ever killed on I'd do that too...

don't know about the organ thing, maybe a car hit her when she was young and did some damage, also, piebald for sure...congrats on a unique trophy
