Arrow question
I have been shooting my bow at about 53# and using Gold Tip XT3555 shafts. Now that my arms are getting more conditioned I want to crank it up to around 60#.
Is there a " real" reason to move up to the XT5575 shaft. Does the extra 5 # draw make a lot of difference on the arrow flight. Also consider, I just bought a doz. 3555' s.[X(] Thanks 3 Step |
RE: Arrow question
What length shaft? If you are longer than 27" , I' d say you' d be way underspined....

RE: Arrow question
29" .

RE: Arrow question
you need to get a stiffer spined arrow 5575' s will work.
JMO but I would just stay at 53# |
RE: Arrow question
i would just stay at 55#. tournament archery,3-D,etc. has rubbed off into the hunting world, ive gotten caught up in it myself, and truthfully i dont see any need in all that speed, so ive backed my bow out to around 62#. ted nugent only shoots 55# and look how hes doing

RE: Arrow question
Thanks for the advise. I think my old sholders will like the lower draw weight also.
I' m gonna let it stay at 53# 3 Step ;) |
RE: Arrow question
