What a surprise.

Well, ive had a older carbon extreme xlr bow that is a little older for awhile now, and last night i flew in to see my mom and sitting in the back seat of the car is a brand new Diamond Stud, it was equipped with all octane accesories and everything. She then took me to basspro to get it tuned and everything. It's amazing, i didnt know a bow could draw sooooo smooth, shoot so quiet and be so fast.

Stud
61 lbs
27.5 in draw length
28.5 in carbon fury arrows
100 gr. field tips
100 gr. rage 3 blade broadheads.

CONGRATS on thenew rig!!! I can't even imagine the night to day difference between that and your old rig! WOW, do you realize that old rig of yours is probably older than many of the people that post on this forum! LOL!

Best of luck with your new Diamond.

It is,I've been shooting all day, and its been snowing since last night ( we have a foot and a half as of an hour ago.) and its amazing. I had 2 arrows touching not only once, but twice. I have never done that with my other bow. It's a crazy nice bow. Well and I forgot to mention, my dad bought me a Remington model 770 30-06 yesterday to. its been a good week.

Hey now, I shot a Jennings Carbon Extreme XLR back in the early 90's. :D

It replaced my 1983 Bear Black Bear II!

And having owned a Carbon Extreme XLR, your absolutely right, talk about night and day with the Diamond Stud. Great bow!

Any good ideas as to what to do with the old bow?

I'd keep it as a back-up. Yes you got a new bow, but you just never know if or when something will put it in the shop for a few days.

Keep it...you won't get anything for it so you might as well hang on to it.
