It looks real to me. The only thing that doesn't look right is at the base of the antlers there is some space between the fur and antler.

Exactly.. Also, look at the color of the Forehead? I've never seen a BUCK that doesnt have a reddish/brown nappy forehead... That is the color of a DOE head.. Also a BUCK has a flatter Forehead while a doe is more round.. LOOK CLOSE AT IT!

I think the snow on the deer face and head is giving a differentiation of color effect on the head. Not that there isn't something weird about it, but if there is, I can't see it.

Antlers look aged as well almost like sheds that had been laying for a little wile and set far back on the skull. I dunno

Looks real to me. Awfull big nose to be a Doe. If it were a skull plate of a buck or whatever your talking about...they did a awesome job of hiding it in a short amount of time.

And your theory of all bucks have the same color of hair on top of the head is wrong.

I agree with solo. It looks like a buck in the face. I also agree with solo on the same color hair on top theory.
