"Dead on" rangerfinder....
hey guys,
i was just lookin around at range finders because i am horrid at judging yardage and would like something to use...i stumeled upon "dead on" range finder... http://www.deadonrangefinder.com/Demo.aspx it looks pretty simple and i wouldnt need to carry anything extra so im really considering it...have any of you used this or is there a mountable range finder that you would suggest?? thanks!! |
Wow, that looks like a great idea.
|
thats what i thought lol

Looks akin to a "range finding reticle" whereby the animals vital size is used to determine range, by how it fills up the reticle. Should work reasonably well in practiced hands.
|
wouldnt mind trying it
|
its 20 bucks so why not...im ordering one now...
|
Wow, that looks pretty easy to use and no batteries to wory about and low tech. Nice.

Not sure I'd be able to pull off that thought process when the action hits...I prefer a laser range finder and pre range objects when I get in the stand.
