They aren't necassary for most hunting rigs, IMO. I haven't used one for 10 years.

All that is is a mental thing I've been told... Your bow isn't going anywhere to begin with. And you shouldn't keep it tight

i was just curious because i dont "grip" the bow...my fingers are like a U shape and it could fall forward and i could drop it....just over thinkin it i guess...

I call it just something else to snag things. I removed mine as soon as I bought the bow.

you should get one if u shoot in that style. they are only a few dollars. i saw a guy drop a brand new bow into the dirt first time he ever shot it shooting that way. could have been prevented with the wrist strap.
