Need some help before the mornin.

I was given permission to hunt this yesterday. There is a small creek runnin through the middle (from the road on down all the way to the highway) Its all pretty much thick trees. The little white speck towards the middle of the picture is an old abandoned trailor and there iss a field infront of it. Any ideas on where to setup at? I dont have my tree stand with me, so i will be limited to the ground. I believe the deer have been bedding in front of the trailor, but i dont know what time exactly. Thanks for any help or info.

Are there any acorn-producing oaks on the property?

What is the surrounding fields (crops?, harvested?)?

if you are bowhuntin..i was just in this same predicament in oct...a new patch of 15 acres looks kinda similar...try to find a couple shootin lanes right in the middle of those tree's...grab a bunch of limbs and branches and make a big 6X6 or 8X8 blind about 4 feet tall...you will be able to see through and harder fer them to see in...you draw from the kneeling or squatting position and stand up when shootin time comes...and if they are in the feild ya have a lil cover to stalk them...i had pine needles which i have found to be very quiet...i tried movin closer everyday to where they were goin and they would go a lil further and ended up they went right bak by where i was the 1st day..very frustrating... the limb blind i made was 3X4 and with a chair it wasnt enough room..thats why i say 6 or 8 X .. i continually notice, even in the rut..the deer will go 1 way in the mornin and the other at dusk....to eat , drink, or bed...gl

yes to acorn producin' oaks. and crops are soy beans and corn; both harvested.

halfbaked- thanks for that. I'll try that, it might be hard at 6 in the mornin though.

I would try to find some cover close enough to shoot the oaks.

Or, borrow a treestand and a harness.

A tree stand is out of the question... Unfortunately.

Im thinkin about just ploppin down infront of a bush and makin a blind outta stucks and whatnot.
