RE: Got my new bow today.....here she is...
Thanks guys. I picked that sight because I liked the adjustments...no allen key needed to raise the pins. It looked like one of the better sights he had on hand.
He wasn' t a big drop away fan (I wanted one) so he didn' t stock them. He said he could order me the kit to make my Mathews Micro Rest a drop-away style if I wanted. He said that the drop-aways have been proven to not drop at the same time every time buy some guy at PSE. Me....I have no clue. You guys should have seen how much time he spent with us! 8 HOURS! Literally! He measured us up...had us draw a lot of different size bows. We both went in demanding 29" draw and 70 lb LX' s. I walked out with a 27.5" draw and 70 pound pull....while my buddy walked out with a 28" draw and 60 pound pull. We learned a lot. Our bodies would curve when we were drawing too far. He said that if we want to shoot our very best we can...then we would have to settle for a draw that fit us perfectly. And that' s just what we did...we took his advice. Am I gonna be real slow now? Is my bow gonna be as fast as my buddies? Any estimates of speed? Either way...it' s not my fault God made my butt so close to the ground...I think I made the right decision by listening to the dealer. And...so far...I' m happy. Man I wanted a 29 soooooooo bad! |
