Well what started off as a very frustrating year here in Illinois with all the rain and flooded fields that still have many fields standing with corn, I took a decent 8 with my bow on public land on Nov 17th and a decent 6 with my gun Nov 21. This is the 1st year I hunted 90% of the time out of my climber, it allowed me to move around where I was seeing deer just out of range. I believe that aided in me taking two decent bucks this year. I guess I can goose hunt now....once the corn is out that is.

My 6 pointer with a gun on Nov 21 2009

Congrats!!

Tagged my last buck on Nov. 3rd. but I'll be out this week again. Watching, setting trail cams, and maybe tagging a Doe or 2 to feed the Hungry

I'll be leaving to NE to chase Mulies in a couple of weeks, give or take

Congrats again, Dennis. After the last two seasons you got to be running out of room on that wall! Way to get it done consistantly. Since you left my hometown hopefully the deer will be settled down and I can get it done this Thanksgiving weekend. LOL!
