Looking for a new bow.
Hey guys thought u could help me out. Rite now I am shooting a PSE Nova. I hate it. I want a bow that is fast. Smooth. Accurate, and not $$$$$$$$$$$$! 450 maybe at the most. What do you think? I was thinking Jennings Buckmaster???

RE: Looking for a new bow.
I have a BowTech Pro40 which I really love. Might be a bit above your price range though. They have other models that may be less expensive.

You might want to give the Hoyt Magnatec a try. It is available in either a dual cam or a single cam version. Both have adjustable draw lengths and variable let off features.
The Magnatec has a faster IBO speed rating than the Nova with about the same brace height and a shorter axle to axle length. Price is around $400 for the XT2000 limbed version and around $290 for the ZR200 version in my area. |

I second the magnatec. I have one. It is my first new bow after shooting a used one for a year or so. Great shooting bow for the money. Good luck.

i really like my nova one cam.with the carbon arrows its pretty fast. shoots nice and flat at the 3-d shoots. maybe save your money and have a pro-shop tune it. just a thought. sometimes i look at other bows and want to upgrade, but the PSE shoots pretty darn good.

What's wrong with the Golden Eagle?I have a Golden Eagle Splitfire and I think it's a great bow it's smooth and real quiet and shoot's very well and it's also very comfortable to handle and is also around your price range I'd try it first before I'd drop it from the list I'm sure you would like it .

RE: Looking for a new bow.
Look at the pse thunderbolt. Its around 330.00 and has the speed and forgivness you seek.

RE: Looking for a new bow.
Look at the Martin Panther Mag. Very smooth and quiet and a 305 IBO. I think A& A Supply has it for $270. I have one and love it. Check out the Jaguar Mag as well. My bro-in-law has a Pearson Spoiler Max that is very comparable for about the same price.

Brandon: I'm not sure what you have for Archery dealers in Adams. But I ran across a good one just off the interstate in New Lisbon. I stopped in after the Neceedah shoot and met the guy. Seemed knowledgable and had a good selection. I have his name and # somewhere if you would like to give him a call email me and I'll find it.
