That's why I freak out seeing guys shoot with their fingers pointing out. Even on hunting shows, first of all it's very, very bad form and not safe. I have taught a lot of archers for over 40 years, and we always begin with how to hold a bow.
Thank God you still have a finger. |
I was expecting to read that it bounced off your finger since it was a Muzzy. Kidding of course! Easy to get into habits like that with field points and then forget with the broadheads are on there. Glad you didn't whack the whole end off!

Glad you're OK! Look at it this way, if it had been a RAGE you would have lost your entire hand.:s4::s2::s2::s2::s2::s2::s2:

Who said Muzzies weren't sharp?

hahahaha...:sheep: |
Muzzy's leave a heck of a blood trail, eh?
|
While following the blood trail of a doe with a nocked arrow. I ducked under a fallen tree and proceeded to slash through my camos and into my calf with the Thunderhead broadhead.
After I found the doe, I was able to follow my own blood trail back to the fallen tree. |
