Super wide 6 pt.

This is the pig I've been after.I made a post about it before, but this is the first daytime shot I've got of this brute.I've been passing up smaller bucks hoping to get a shot at this slob.Look what time it showed up today at a scrape I have my camera on.Look how wide it is.What a 6 pt.

Don't know exactly where you live, but on our properties he would be a gene pool liability and a target.

Good luck on sticking him, he is super wide and will make ya a nice trophy; regardless of points!

Good luck!

Nice deer! and way too vulnerable to be out in broad daylight. Try to pattern him and smoke em' soon.

Not if he's a 2.5 yr old buck.. still looks pretty young in that pic... he could be a real monster in a year or two+.

That's similiar slanted logic to shooting spike bucks I'd say.
If he were simply a small racked six point at 3-4 years of age and I'd agree with your thinking, but add this particular buck's genetic traits of mass and spread to a doe's genetic strand of birthing bucks with multiple points and you may have yourself a litter of booners.

In my area of Western PA, he would not be a legal buck with a 4pt a side AR.

Good luck with him.

He looks like a 2-3 yr. old. I'd let him go 1 more year, and if he looked the same, then I'd take him. But still a good young buck.
