You can't fake this kind of emotion.

My father in law shot his best buck on Nov. 2nd, after more than 20 years of hunting. Buck came in shortly after a doe did. 18 yard broadside shot. Buck ran about 75 yards. Oh yeah, it was shot with a Rage 2 blade. He's a believer.

Great deer, and even better pictures! Congrats!

I'll take mass over point totals or tine length any day. (Although all three together are fine)
Good to see him enjoying his hunt. That's what it's all about. Tell him congrats.

thats what its all about...solid buck!

my7pointmonster 11-04-2009 07:56 PM

Hahahaha. That's an awesome picture. He looks like he's on cloud 9. I know a guy who gets really funny when he shoots a doe even. I don't know what he would do if he shot a big buck like that. I get pretty excited and wild but I don't know what I look like when it happens.

Ryan.

Nice Buck. I would be happy to kill a buck of that caliber any day. My only question is, The toilet paper? Was it for when he **** himself when he saw his trophy?

RattleSnake1 11-04-2009 09:43 PM

Congrats to father in law James. No pic by the pond this time? lol Your pics are always so well laid out or was it not killed on your property? To MP...many folks use toilet paper as a marker for last blood while on trail.

I was kidding. Apparently I need to start using the emotion icons.
