I called Pat up this afternoon to congratulate him and to get the story. Turns out that he sat the scrape line that this buck was workin'. Pat told me that he didn't realize just how many extra points the buck had until he picked up his head for the first time.
I also had to rib him about being sure to get mine mounted before he did his, after all, first come first served. He assured me that mine would be done first since it pays the bills to do the customers first!!

I was out to Heartland Taxidermy yesterday, Pat's buck has been officially scored, it has a 203 7/8" net non typ., there were 14 scorable points per side making him a 28 pointer.

Here is another pic that shows the bases better,...insane!
