Difference between 05 and 06 Allegiance?

I'm in the process of acquiring and setting-up a back-up bow. To remain within budget, my intent is to get a used 05/06 Allegiance.

The question: is there any difference between an 05 and an 06 - other than modular draw length changes available on the 06?

I have an 06. You're right about the cam differences and the modules. The riser on the 06 is machined differently and I presume it's a bit lighter than the 05. The 07 is the lightest Allegiance, but it tends to produce more recoil. They are all great bows. If you find an 05 that fits I wouldn't hesitate in getting one.

Ok, thanks Justice4all!
I owned an 06 and will look for that one, but keep my open for an 05 too.

i have shot the 05 allegience for 4 years, love it. At the start of this hunting season i was looking for a bow for my dad/ backup bow if needed it. Found an 06 allegience on ebay, for a great deal and a great price. It was almost brand new. It is almost exactly like my 05 except the module addjustments. Which doesn't come in to play once you set it up for yourself.
