RE: Question about the free fligh release
See the set screw on the little square block opposite the trigger? Ok, its also the same block and set screw next to the string when you lock it on. Adjust the set screw clockwise to lighten the pull and counterclockwise to make it heavier. Make sure you do it in very small increments.

RE: Question about the free fligh release
While dialing that release in you might want to draw your bow in a manner that does not line your hand up with your face. When I first did mine I busted myself in the lip because I over adjusted the set screw and it released my string accidentialy.......hill

RE: Question about the free fligh release
Hunter,
Good advice from above! I have a chipped tooth from a few years ago to prove it! You might also want to put a second allen "set screw" on top of the one you adjust to secure the set screw and ensure it doesn't want to back up on you. Ive shot a lot of releases and admittedly waffle between the Winn and a Scott. It just seems in hunting situations I always come back to the Winn. Good Shootin' Shan |
