Default Crimson Talon Black Mamba Broadheads

Anyone used the Crimson Talon Black Mamba broadheads? I boughtsome for use this season. The ads say that these leave a massive wound channel and great blood trails (a lot of them say that, huh?) Does anyone have any success stories or horror stories on these?

I have not shot them.....but a good friend of mine has and loves them to death LOL

He says they fly great and leave big holes.

I'd want to be packing alot of KE with those. Something over 65 ft lbs I'd say. If you're bow has the juice, go for it.

Default Not Good

These broadheads are no good. On two separate occasions with well placed shots on whitetails. These broadheads had almost no penetration. I put a shot on a deer at 15 yards and the arrow went in maybe an inch. I will never use these ever again.

Can you explain the circumstances a little better? Not that I dont believe you Its just hard to see an arrow only penetrating an inch, it probably is pretty feasable though uner certain circumstances
