Advise on this bow
 

I was givin an older bow, (how old I do not kow). It is a Bear, Black Panther, compound.

I am going to give it to my boyfriend, I do not hunt yet anyway.

I want to give it so updates, and have no clue what I am doing.

any imput would be great

I am not sure what the condition the bow string is in. Perhaps have it looked at and replaced if needed. I would be looking at what new sights would be good for it. As well as a new peep and arrow rest. Other than that I am not to sure what else you can do with it. I used to shoot an old Bear bow last year.It was a Bear Bruin and I had bought it when it was new. I have now purchased a newer Botech bow. The difference in sights is amazing as well as arrow rests. Good luck at getting it fixed up for him..
