i have a leafy suit ,it has a lot less sticking out than the ghille does and i only use that for turkey with a shotgun, the string tore it up! and that was with an arm guard to hold it down!

When you use one you have to do a lot of testing and cutting the stuff off, to clear bow string. I am making one, got the kit from bushrag.com 75 bucks if I remember right. pre made they are around 150. got the head gear done working on the body part now...

RE: Ghilli suits?

I have tried a ghillie suit before for bowhunting. The only stuff that gets in the way is the stuff hanging from the hat. I usually just wear a baseball cap instead of the ghillie mask and everthing. Some people have said to use paperclips to clip it out of the way but they just fall out. I would definately say it' s worth the money though. I have had one for one year and have had at least two instances where a deer walked right by me and didn' t know I was there. The natural looking camo is absolutely amazing. Mike,-
