opening day mess up
 

opening day for new york was saturday and i missed at 15 yards i was in a 20 foot tall tree stand so i was preaty much shooting straight down and sunday i was in my stand and i was drinking coffe. i saw the biggest doe ive ever seen and i watched it for about 10 minutes and i was wating for it to step out into my lane cause it was in some thick stuff and i didnt feel comfortable with the shoot and i think it smelled the coffe cuz it turned around and walked away if it would have taken 3 more steps i would have droped it :bash:

you drink coffee in stand?

Don't feel bad. One of my buddies let me go out with him last week and I missed a nice doe at 20 yards. But, he ended up getting her. I just got to excited because, that was the first deer I saw in my four years of bow hunting. It sucks but, I learned from my mistake.:rolleye0011:
