Last night and this morning I heard alot of doe bleating and had her at 35 yards. She went on for about a hour, but never brought anything into sight.

Back out at 3pm
Bring some of them deer my way. The only thing I saw today where 2 grouse. Was going to shoot one of them, but they where in a tree and didn't want to loose an arrow and bh just for that.

Saturday, I saw nothing but some Squirrels. Got blown at 5 times on my way out last night.
This AM I had a Spike with one side broken off walk bay at 8 yards & a decent 6 at 33 yrds. but had no shot. We will see what happens tonight. I'll be in a stand 150 yards back from a cornfield at an intersection where3 trails meet & a couple giant Oaks raining acorns
within bow range.

My brother shot a small 80 pound doe, and my dad shot a 130 pound doe. We all saw plenty of deer, I passed up on a few small ones.

I got a doe, my uncle missed 2 does... Also saw a buck of a life time in the middle of the afternoon, came within 15 yards of me, when i drew he turned his back to me, and instead of taking a spine shot, i let down and he busted me...life sucks right now.
But got really really lucky with the rain, in Southern NY it somehow missed us the whole weekend!!!

Saturday it was snowing, sleet and raining plus windy.
Sunday was a beautiful morning.

I saw NOTHING in the 1-1/2 days of hunting...maybe next weekend.

I've had good luck so far, no shooters but lots of bucks and doe. Already seeing aggressive chasing fonr the 2 1/2's which is unusual. Hopefully a big boy will step out this week, trail cams are showing good daylight activity.
