If it's pouring I'll stay home, but if it's just basic light rain I'm in the game. We'll see. You've gotta play to win!! I'll let ya'll know what happens tonight.
Well, I went out and only saw a lone doe, out of range. I also saw 2 redtail hawks which is always neat. At least the rain stopped for most of my hunt which I'm appreciative of.

i hunted friday and sat in the mess on eastern shore of md/del. i did a lil stand huntung which is horrible in this weather. i have much more luck stalking in the wind/rain then stand hunting. its alot more fun and less cold because your on the move and always on edge. i find some thick pines and slowly move along stoping every 3 steps or so. always see deer hunting like this. i actually look forwwad to the nasty weather due to the ground hunting!

That nor'easter didn't keep this guy from moving around.

I posted a pic of him in the regional fourms. To bad I had to work friday. This is a perfect example why you should spend all day in the woods. You never know when they are going to show up. this Guy walked past my tree at lunch time in the rain.

Knowing you've got a buck like that in your area would make you WANT to hunt all day.
