cheap camo for portable tree stands
 

just thought i would share an idea. i use some hang on stands but mostly ladder stands. the problem with the ladder type stands is that they stick out like a soar thumb. i went to the dollar store and found 6 ft length atrificial plastic leaf type garland. i use plastic zip ties to secure them and your in business. im sure the deer dont care but i hate the way my ladder stands stick out in the woods. you can also wait till the after xmas sales to get the pine type garland but its a little more money and i found the color of it doesnt blend with the local pines that well. happy camoflauging!

I used H.S [Hunter Specialties] Camp Permanent Camo Spray Paint on my Loc-On Limit. Thank God for my GPS or I' d have lost it last year. I bought the kit and have even done bosw with it and it is VERY effective.

Did the same thing. Used the green leaf garland from my wedding to camo my ladder stand. :D

Would " limbs" from an artificial Christmas tree work? You might have to take it down in Dec!
