Congrats on the deer! Boy, that is a nice buck...love it!

I honestly can't even imagine being tagged out. I have no idea what I would do. Hunting several states that have liberal bag limits...even on years when I've killed a pile of deer, I've never even come close to tagging out. I wouldn't know what to do if I couldn't go hunting when the season was open. I guess you need to buy a non-res license....too much time left to be on the sidelines!

Very good guess Orion! He was 12 yards from the base of my stand, and was quartering to me. Very observant! Thanks everyone for the kind words. Just some clarification, I can shoot a bunch more does considering my "zone" and the fact that I hunt urban areas. I guess I'm just already waiting for next season to be able to harvest another buck. Traveling out of state for another opportunity at a buck is on my mind more and more everyday! Not feeling excited about the upcoming rut is a new feeling for me. I guess that just means I'm full time camera man now.

Nice deer. If I tag out early it just means that my honey-do list starts back up early....... I usually finish the season with one tag.

The wife and I both are coming to Ohio for gun season.
I have scored nice bucks every year.
This will be the wifes 1st trip, there is a double drop tine running around with her name on it.
Either way, what every we get I sure hope it has a huge body like your buck.
