First Day of Mass deer season pays off for me, MY FIRST BUCK!
Yesterday was the first day of bowseason in Ma I was excited as always. It was a cold morning at about 29 around 6:30 when I first got into my stand. After sitting through the cold for three hours it payed off. There I was with handwarmers and day dreaming to look down to see a Buck! I didnt know what to do right away theres a buck right underneath my treestand and i dont even have my bow. So the buck continued on the run that i was hunting, quartering away from me. He went behind a tree and thats when i grabbed my bow and stood up and drew back waiting for him. Then his vitals were exposed thats when i made my shot quatering away( I clipped his liver and got one of his lungs ), he ran away with the arrow still in him. After about 30 mins of waiting I got on his blood trail. At first it was nice and steady and then it started to thin out. After about another 3 hours of looking for blood I finally came across more blood and two hours later there he was with my arrow still in him.
THERE HE WAS MY FIRST BUCK 8 POINTER ABOUT 130 POUNDS!
