You are correct she needs to be taken out of there. I had one similar to that last year, luckily she never messed up a hunt that I know of. This year she was on trail cam several times, you would get a sequence of pics of her on edge of trail looking left then right a couple times and the a pic of her and her fawns butts as the jumped across the trail. First night on stand I was able to put her down thank God.

personally I squint my eyes when looking at a deer close up and personal. I think they can pick your eyes out especially the blinking from 30 yrds.

even with camo nettin over my head i squint my eyes , especially if they are lookin my way
