Here is a 3 year old buck (six by five), my first archery deer. 32 yard shot, broadside. I hate to admit it, but I got him in the gut. Found him the next morning 200 yards away.

Iowa 10 Pointer
 

Iowa buck arrowed November 5th. Nice clean wide ten. Shot him in a very small woodlot no bigger than 5 acres. It is surrounded by two busy roads and a golf course. Last side of the woodlot is attached by a small funnel to a 100 acre patch of woods and he came up the funnel looking for some love! I had watched him the prior two mornings scent checking a group of does and decided to run in hang and stand and sit right down and wait him out that evening. Sure enough he showed up on schedule and there I was just waiting for him.
