12-18, wow the deer around my county would have your number if thats all you sat.. my average tree stand is 22-26ft. I don't have any at 30ft, but I understand the reasoning depending on the ground layout.

Im just happy to hunt another day. It could have been worse, but besides the nocked arrow, its history, cracked in half. I will be putting team #17 on the board this week....I feel It!

I dropped my first hoyt out of the stand THE FIRST DAY home with it. scuffed a cam, that was it.

Well if you say it's 2 16ft ladders, I've got to believe you, my statement was that most hunters can't estimate height very well. I've heard so many guys talk about being "almost 30" and when i see their stand they are more like 14. Unless you are up in the air a lot, it's hard to judge.
good luck.

thats why you have to have a hoyt. there tougher than hell. but i would take it to a pro shop and just have them look at it

Thats a hoyt for you. I think i might have to switch from bowtech to hoyt.

Chalk me up to the list of bowhunters who have dropped their bow from a treestand.....and you guessed it, mine was a Hoyt as well! Mine only fell about 20 feet though. I pulled the bow back up into the stand, looked it over, aimed at a stump about 20 yards away and shot. The arrow hit its mark so I decided to stay and hunt.

Whats with all you Hoyt guys dropping your bows? :)

What a relief to know it was okay.
