Default New purchase....have a question.

Well I broke down and bought a new set of camo that is scent lok. I bought the Scent Blocker Road Trips series camo. I was just wondering if there is anything special I need to wash this camo in. I usually wash my camo with the Hunters Specialties scent away wash or the 99% Scent Killer wash. Are both of these fine to use? Or what other detergents has everyone had the best luck with?

Thanks,
Kash

Thats what I use and it works fine....the key is to dry on the highest setting possible for at least an hour.

Use it right as in still playing the wind? Or like washing it and storing it in scent proof containers. Because I still plan to play the wind, and always store my camo in scent lock bags and in containers. And also spray down before heading out.

I mean by bathing in scent products, using scent free ruber boots and not wearing any of it till your on site. That means getting dressed outside your truck etc. You cant wear your boots etc to a gas station then expect to be scent free when you get there.

Yes I also shower with scent free soap before everytime of going out hunting. I try to do most of my dressing at the site outside my vehicle. I usually put on one layer at the house that I will wear under my camo, it comes straight out of a scent proof container though. Do you store your boots in a scent container while your not wearing them?

I just keep them in a plastic bag. It sounds like your doing a good job. Keep it up and you will do great.
