Congrats on the doe buddy! Excellent story and pics too, as usual.

Thanks for the text and keep me posted on how the rest of the weekend goes!

HCH, thanks man.

Nick Hull, Thanks man.

minnesotadeer, thanks so much.

dmax4me, thank you very much. I'm glad I decided to take her and worked her in. It would have bothered me to watch her walk off. A lone doe is very susceptible to calling.

rh160kid, I'd definitely think she was 1.5. I think it's just a good pic and thanks.

my7pointmonster, thanks youngster, Hang in there LOL, figuratively. It's just the first day. Good luck.

Surf62, I agree. The more I thought about her while she was coming in, I'd envision deep snow and yotes dragging her down. I know it's nature doing nature things but I think I took her out pretty quick. It saddened me but also felt a sense of ease.

twild, got any one eared deer down there. You know I'll find them, or they'll find me. LOL

AK Nimrod, lol thanks my friend. I tried. I saw 4 but none that I would have shot this year.

mfd1027, thanks Dan.

BPBowhunter, Thanks Brian. You know the spot well. And I drug her out of there myself. What a work out. For those that don't know. Brian went out of his way to help me drag my buck out of there last Halloween. It's a LOONG way away from my truck.

ArcticBowman, thanks stranger. And yeah, there is a pile of guys on here who text back and forth once an animal is down.

PAHUNTER105, thanks and yes, plenty of time.

Thanks Hunt4life, BOW HNT and Carpmaster. I appreciate it.

Damon, thanks man. She'll eat good.

BOWHUNTER818, thanks so much and thanks for noticing. Picked her up (Harley) back in May, ordered in Jan. She's an 09 Fat Boy.

TheMiz54, thanks. When does your season start?

Brett/IL, thanks man. How's your season going. I thought you'd get a kick out of that. My weekend is now over. No Sunday hunting but I'll be back in a tree Monday after work. See below for this evenings hunt.

Centauri 1, thanks so much.

elkhuntinut, LMAO. Maybe I'm the man for the job huh? Thanks buddy.

Had a great evening.

I saw 4 bucks, no doe. All 4 bucks were non shooters for me the best being a 7 point see here. I sat in my food plot stand.

I got trapped in the tree and had to hang there til well after dark as 2 small bucks decided to feed and spare in front of me for quite a while. I'd watch them with my binos, and then sit back and listen to them click, click, click. Neither too serious, just feeling each other out.

What a beautiful night in the tree, great day all around.

Congrats Rob! When I got your text I couldn't help it but my first thought was ROB Doe. I had 4 nice big does come by 2 in shooting range, but can't shoot does on that particular property.

Was just great being out.
