Perfect broadside shot and you screwed it up...
I'd go back to the range:) |
Nice try. I cant say I would have ruined and arrow and broad head for a squirrel in the tree. maybe if he was on the ground. I always put one arrow in my quiver with a field point just in case things are slow and something like that presents its self, lol

I shot one the other day, my arrow was tipped with a Judo, smacked him a good one. Blood and fur on the arrow. He ran off with my arrow stuck in him, the arrow finally fell out on his way up a tree, never seen anything like it!

true story i dont tell people i can see. i took a perfect broadside shot at a scrub buck a few years ago. i thought it was a solid hit so while waiting for my trophy to blled out i saw a squirell on a log and thought what the heck. pinned the tree rat to the log it was awsome. the i got down to look for blood on MY buck. DIDNT EVEN CUT HAIR. WHAT A DOWNER:confused0024::confused0024:

THAT, is a big friggin' squirrel. I thought it was a woodchuck when I first saw the thumbnail.:cool2: |
That's a hell of a stick you killed! :happy0001:
I got one earlier this year that was only about 3" in diameter. I was shooting at a grouse and his a 20' tall alder. Had a judo point on it and had to climb up the tree to pull the arrow out, it was about 12 feet up. |
