Unlike you it seems, I lose mighty little sleep worrying about getting eaten by a bear or murdered by another human, thus I feel NO need to carry a gun at all times. It is highly unlikely your gun will be a factor in when you will or won't die.

I can assure, I loose zero sleep knowing that I have protection for when chit hits the fan, weather I am in a tent, or under the roof of my home. After all, I'm armed, what do I have to be afraid of? Not a whole lot, huh!!

You probably carry "death" insurance, and I carry "life" insurance!!
