That is awesome man congrats although I must tell you I am a little jealous Caribou is my dream hunt and for you to be able to go out an shoot one just for a freezer filler makes me jealous.

Dan, the Dead Sled works pretty well. I was worried about it cracking in the cold, but it did just fine. The tabs for the straps are a little thin too, but they held up fine. I should have spent a little more time to strap in the load, and I'd recommend some sort of chest harness to pull with. My shoulders were hurting the next morning from having the straps up and over them.

Plan is to see if I can't get another freezer filler on the 14th when I drive back to Fairbanks. The next day we'll be headed to Delta to hunt bison since my dad drew one of the tags there this year. 95 tags for nearly 12,000 applicants and he draws his first time out. Hopefully he'll be that lucky in the field and we'll get him a big one.
