Try to hunt a natural funnel, or open feilds. They feel more comfortable there.

Hunting in high winds pretty well stops all of the deer movement. Unless it has been going on for days on end, then they are forced to get up and feed.

In my experience I've seen less deer in high winds than on warm to hot days. I don't hunt in high winds anymore.

We don't like the wind, neither do they. Can't be windy every where, that's where I go. Hunted once on the windy side of a woods, found the deer later on the calm side, lesson learned.
